Stories of Resilience: Samir Mirza
Samir sold his start up for $100,000,000 to Twitter (X)
What happened after he did that?
We tend to look at success milestones and financial outcomes as the pillars to what's important in life.
Last night was something I've been wanting to do for a while, because the world needs to hear Samir's story. On paper everything looked great, but what we talked about last night was the things that don't get talked about:
----The REAL Mental and Emotional Health struggles that we deal with internally (especially as entrepreneurs). The lack of self worth, the need to feel like we're adding value to the world, the external AND internal pressures that are on our backs, the dark places that our minds take us to which question the purpose of our existence, and the HARDEST journey that we can take... which is the journey of going deep inside our hearts and minds to understand ourselves and to genuinely love our SELF.
We laughed, we cried, we all felt connected to the different aspects of Samir's story even though we didn't have all of his exact experiences.
2023 was the most transformational year for Samir because that's when he truly understood himself and became the best version of himself.
I am so grateful to have him as a close friend and as an OrionCore Member in the #Orion3 Family. For him to share all that he shared last night, was not easy. Last night he was ready and the stars aligned.
